The Circulation Desk is located on the first floor of the Porter Henderson Library. Various library materials can be checked out at the Circulation Desk. Reserve materials can also be found at the Circulation Desk.
Circulation Request Forms
The forms below are in the Adobe Acrobat or PDF format. You must have Adobe Acrobat 6.0 or better to view these documents correctly. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat and require assistance installing this software, call the Information Technology Service Center at 325-942-2911.
Faculty Checkout Request Form Must be presented in person by the designee checking out materials WITH both required ASU I.D.s

Course Reserve Request Form One form must accompany each item to be placed on reserve. Please submit to the Circulation Unit of the Library and allow one week for processing.

Microsoft Word document: simply download the file to your own computer, complete it off-line and save it for your records. When ready, you can print the form and bring/send the printout along with a clean, single-sided, unstapled copy of the item listed to the Library Circulation desk, for scanning; or email the form as an attachment to Angela Skaggs. If you assign many of the same readings from year to year, you can keep your Word file to send again in the future, saving yourself retyping your bibliography.
Adobe PDF file: fill out the form online and click the “Submit” button to have the information emailed directly to the Library Circulation staff member in charge of E-Reserves, or print it and bring/send the printout along with a clean, single-sided, unstapled copy of the item listed to the Library Circulation desk, for scanning. The Media Collection, located in the Basement of the Porter Henderson Library at Angelo State University, has holdings of over 8,000 audio-cassettes, LPs, CDs, videos, 16mm films, laser video discs, and slide collections. The Media Collection has viewing rooms and listening stations available for convenient access to the collection’s holdings. The Media Collection also provides general assistance with the Library’s microform collections and the microform reader/printers. For a modest fee, departmental personnel make transparencies, custom microprinting, and laminations for university students, staff, and faculty members.
For access to Media materials please submit your requests to the Circulation Desk on the First Floor of the Library.

The Curriculum Collection, located in the basement of the Porter Henderson Library, is a special collection of materials and resources geared to the needs of Angelo State University students majoring in Education. The Curriculum Collection consists of those instructional materials specifically adopted by the Texas State Board of Education and currently in use in the public schools of the state. It includes textbooks, curriculum guides, learning activity books, and other related materials. Instructional materials are on a six-year cycle, with different subjects up for review each year. Materials that are no longer current are removed from the Curriculum Collection. The curriculum collection is for in-library use only (materials cannot be checked out).
