ASU Photography Students Display Work

Angelo State University photography students have set up a photo exhibit of their work that is open free for public viewing through the end of November at the Tom Green County Library, 113 W. Beauregard Ave.

“Captured Light,” a mixture of both black-and-white and color photographs, can be seen 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Fridays and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays. The exhibit will also be open during the Downtown Artwalk from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18.

The 40 prints were produced by ASU students using both traditional cameras with film and darkroom materials, and digital cameras and printing methods.

This exhibit is ASU’s second in the county library, said Tina Doyle, senior mass media instructor.

“We are pleased that our students are able to display their photographs outside the university setting,” she said, “as it gives them an added sense of pride and accomplishment in their work.”

For more information, call Ms. Doyle at 942-2344, ext. 361.
