ASU Liberal and Fine Arts Dean to Perform Voice Recital

Dr. Kevin Lambert, dean of the Angelo State University College of Liberal and Fine Arts, will present a voice recital Thursday, Nov. 5, at ASU.

The tenor’s performance is open free to the public and will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Eldon Black Recital Hall inside the Carr Education-Fine Arts Building, 2602 Dena Drive.

Luellen Meyer, organist and director of music at First Presbyterian Church in San Angelo, will accompany Lambert.

The program, sung mostly in English, will be split into two parts. The first half will feature a selection of sacred songs about Jesus Christ and the second part will include songs about love, both pro and con. Lambert’s first song after an intermission will be “And So, Goodbye,” and he will close the set with “When I’ve Sung My Songs To You, I’ll Sing No More.” He will also perform two songs in French.

For more information about the recital, call 942-2085.
