ASU to Offer Education Courses in Fredericksburg
Angelo State University will offer graduate education courses in Fredericksburg during the spring 2010 semester, which begins in January.
The courses from the ASU Curriculum and Instruction Department will be taught at the Texas Tech University facility at 1110 S. Adams St. in Fredericksburg.
Courses planned for the spring semester are Behavior and Classroom Management, Problems of Instructional Supervision, Learning Theories, Practicum/Internship in School Administration, Leadership in Higher Education, Career and Occupational Counseling, Practicum in Counseling, Practicum in Higher Education, Internship in Higher Education and Clinical Teaching.
“Our faculty likes the Hill Country,” said Dr. Brian May, ASU College of Graduate Studies interim dean. “Distance learning is not a new thing for regional or major universities in Texas, but it’s a new thing for ASU. This is something that will become a part of the culture at ASU.”
