The new residence hall, named Centennial Village, is scheduled to be built on the northwest corner of campus on the site formerly occupied by the Rosemont Apartments. The housing complex is scheduled for opening in the fall of 2007.

Other business will include routine curriculum, budget and personnel issues as well as status reports on various planned construction projects on campus.

The other institutions are Lamar University, Lamar Institute of Technology, Lamar State College-Orange, Lamar State College-Port Arthur, Sam Houston State University, Sul Ross State University, Sul Ross State University-Rio Grande College and Texas State University-San Marcos.
