The Ram Tram is a FREE city bus transportation dedicated to ASU students. Faculty and staff may also ride. Show your ASU ID to board.
There are two routes. The Blue Route runs on Fridays and Saturdays, and the Gold Route runs on Tuesdays. See below for details about the routes’ stops and schedules.
Consider using the Ram Tram even if you own a car but want free, safe transportation to shopping, dining and entertainment venues throughout San Angelo.
Additionally, current ASU Students with a valid ASU ID will be permitted to ride any CVTD Fixed Route at no cost. Students without their ASU ID will be required to pay the current fare.
The Blue Route runs on Fridays and Saturdays, stopping on campus at Plaza Verde and Centennial Village then beginning a route through southwest San Angelo, Sherwood Way, downtown and back to ASU, running every hour on the half hour.

The Gold Route runs on Tuesdays, starting on campus at Plaza Verde and Centennial Village, stopping at HEB and Walmart, and returning to ASU, running every half hour.

*Times are estimated based on traffic, weather, and clients riding the CVT Fixed Route System. Please be at all stops approximately 5 minutes before the posted time.
Fall Semester 2020
- Tuesdays - Gold Route: 4 - 8 p.m.
- Fridays - Blue Route: 5:30 - 11:30 p.m.
- Saturdays - Blue Route: 11:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m
