When you are searching, look for renewable scholarships, such as ASU’s Carr Academic Scholarships, which reduce your expenses for the duration of your college education.

Grants are awarded based on need and do not have to be repaid. ASU helps facilitate federal, state and institutional grants.

Employment Information

Employment is a popular option for many Angelo State students. Federal and state work-study jobs are awarded to students with documented financial need. ASU also maintains a large listing of on-campus and community jobs for students who are not eligible for work-study.

Financial Aid Information

Loans must be repaid with interest. Long-term options include student loans, such as the Federal Direct Stafford, and parent loans, such as Federal Direct PLUS loans, and private student loans, also known as alternative education loans. ASU also helps facilitate emergency short-term loans.
