Girls Night Out is a free event aimed at raising awareness about physical, mental and emotional health for women during their college years.
Set in a fun and interactive environment, this event provides an opportunity for college women to learn new skills to stay safe, protect themselves and make good personal choices.
2019 Girls Night Out
This year at Girls Night Out, attendees will learn how to “Find Their Roots” from several featured speakers. Students, staff and faculty at Angelo State University and Howard College, as well as women stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base, are invited to attend.
Hanna Seymour
Hanna Seymour has mentored over 1,000 college women during her 10 years working in higher education and has compiled her 52 most asked questions into a book, “The College Girl’s Survival Guide.” She will answer audience questions about how to make college meaningful.
Jordan Lee Dooley
Jordan Lee Dooley is an internet-famous blogger and influencer who speaks about pausing to choose purpose over the pressure to prove. She is the author of “Own Your Everyday,” a book that motivates women to find joy and contentment in everyday life while still pursuing their big dreams.
Catie Wiedenhofer
Catie Wiedenhofer is our RAD women’s instructor and personal defense specialist. She will demonstrate her self-defense classes.
