Presidential Scholars (Classes on HS Campus/Online)
The off-site dual credit program is for students wanting to take dual credit courses on their high school campus. This program is available only to high schools that have a dual credit agreement with ASU. Please check with your high school counselor to determine if your high school is a current ASU Dual Credit partner.

Admission Criteria
If you are wishing to enroll in ASU dual credit courses at your high school, please ensure you meet the admission requirements below. If you are unsure of these requirements, please contact your high school counselor for more information.
- At least a 3.0 high school GPA, or top 50% in your graduating class
- Permission from high school counselor or administrator

Steps to Apply (Public High School Students)
- Dual Credit Application - Complete and submit an online dual credit application for admission: Spring 2021 applications will open on October 21.
- Parent/Guardian submit the parent/guardian agreement form. Parents will receive an email a few days after the student applies with a link to submit this form.
- If the parent is unable to access the electronic form, a paper version of the agreement can be printed, signed, and submitted to the high school counselor. The quickest method to being admitted and enrolled is to access the electronic agreement form sent to the parent/guardian’s email address.
- Request your high school transcript and all test scores be sent to ASU. The preferred method to receive transcripts is via TREX.

- Parent/Guardian submit the parent/guardian agreement form. Parents will receive an email a few days after the student applies with a link to submit this form.

Test Score Requirements (TSI)
In order to enroll in a dual credit Math or English course with ASU, all students who do not meet TSI exemption requirements must take a TSI Assessment test in Math and/or Reading and Writing. Score requirements are listed below. TSI Assessment scores or exemptions must be recorded with ASU prior to enrollment.

Regent Scholars (Classes on ASU Campus)
The on-site dual credit program is for students wanting to take classes on the ASU campus in San Angelo. This program is available to students who wish to commute to the ASU campus to take courses in the ASU classrooms with current students.

Admission Criteria
To be eligible for admission to this program, high school students must meet the following requirements:
- Present a composite score on the ACT or a combined verbal and math score on the SAT for the high school class ranks shown below:
