Information for:

Ram TV

Students are preparing for careers in the media industry by training as reporters, videographers and editors when they research and produce weekly programs that highlight world news, university events, departments, professors and students for Ram TV and Ram Radio. This material is broadcast on the university’s educational access channel as well as San Angelo’s local FOX affiliate KIDY.

Learn and explore different subjects each day of the week on Suddenlink cable channel 6:

  • Inside ASU – news, information, events and activities at Angelo State University
  • Symposium – lectureships, speakers and conferences hosted on the ASU campus
  • Entertainment – local and national entertainment venues, many sponsored by UCPC, on the ASU campus
  • Arts and Humanities – local art, music and movie series in the San Angelo area and on the ASU campus
  • Culture, Media and Technology – highlights of cultural events and activities at ASU, as well as a look at current events and technological developments in society
  • What’s 4 U @ ASU – focuses on student organizations and department highlights
  • Sports – local, national and ASU sports

In addition to our current programming, we provide a new and improved text roll in High Definition widescreen, equipped with the ASU Fight Song and images of ASU activities.

The text roll provides up-to-date news, information and department contacts to students, faculty and staff.
