My research program is focused on gender using both mixed methods and strictly qualitative methods. Previous work has included examining socially supportive couples and previous sexual assault histories, body objectification research, and counseling efficacy protocols. Currently, I am working on a project that explores creativity and parenting.

I really like working with students on their research ideas, particularly as they pertain to relationships and gender and/or qualitative research.
