Senior English major and Honors student Emily Krause received the poster award in the Arts and Humanities senior division at the Great Plains Honors Council’s annual conference, held in Stillwater, OK, March 23-25, 2018. Her poster “The Death of Chiron: Finding Peace in Assisted Suicide” explores how the centaur Chiron’s myth is relevant to ethical issues arising in modern medicine and builds upon a two-semester independent research project conducted with English professors Jackson and Ellery.
